The user needs to choose or enter a password.
Solution
Use this whenever a user needs to set or enter password to log in or create an account.
Password fields can be masked or unmasked by default. Use a show/hide label or icon for toggling the mask and making the text visible. You can also use a checkbox next to the password field to enable this mechanism.
By using a show/hide mechanism the user is not required to enter the password twice while not sacrificing security.
Clearly state the rules for new password creation.
Use a passcode or PIN instead of password entry where it makes sense.
